Jeanmarie Dwyer, M.S., received her Masters in Human Services from National Louis University. She has facilitated women's groups for 23 years. She cofounded A Womans Place, a drop in center for homeless women in Chicago. She founded WomensWisdom in 1993. Also a lecturer, she has made numerous appearances, including TV, regarding women's transpersonal growth. She is a published writer. Her essays, which appear in women's magazine, deal with the developmental issues of women's psychological growth. She is a member of the Association of Transpersonal Psychology, the Association of Humanistic Psychology, the National Organization of Women and the National Association of Women in Careers. In addition, she is President of the Lakeshore Chapter of the Sacred Dance Guild and is a member of a sacred dance troupe. Ms. Dwyer teaches tap and sacred dance. She has been active in community theater since 1981 and has acted in numerous plays including "Arsenic and Old Lace", "Nation of Strangers", "Cabaret", "Strange Bedfellows", and "The Vagina Monologues", which she also directed. She is past president of the Mt. Prospect D.R.A.M.M.A. society. She is founder of the traveling acting troupe Artists Theater of the Divine Feminine and is the movie reviewer for Sophia Magazine. |
